Emergency aid Kwanjana

On Monday and Tuesday we went along with a number of members of the Action Committee to all houses in Kwanjana to register the families affected by the rain. What a need we have seen. Almost 250 families who have lost (part of) their home. Some families, who already had so little, now have nothing. Help is desperately needed. We are surprised how many people show that they have a warm heart for the people in Kwanjana. A lot of money has arrived in a short time. At present all purchases are being made so that tomorrow, D.V. March 14, we can provide emergency assistance in Kwanjana. The affected families are helped with, among other things, corn meal, blankets, soap and plastic to temporarily protect the houses.
