Our new teacher

Hi everyone, my name is Rebecca Chimbalanga. I am a Malawian lady, aged 21, a holder of Malawi school certificate and certificate in early childhood development. I have just started working at For a Change Foundation in Kwanjana as a nursery teacher. Working with For a Change is very nice and interesting, because Kwanjana being a village where there is a lot of poverty, the ‘ For a Change children’ are able to receive quality education by reducing ignorance step by step, which is one of the pillars that For a Change is focusing on. There is a great expectation that the learners are going to improve a lot academically, because of the presence of learning resources. As a teacher I promise to give them the best I can for them, to really have a great future. I am looking forward that one day For a Change is going to be a great modern primary school not only ending in nursery school but also a great high school. Because good education is important, to defeat poverty!
